Targeted treatment  techniques

Our services

Techniques are tailored to your presentation, preferences, and goals.

You are always in charge and no treatment technique is used without your consent.

Myofascial Release

We use the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release approach — long, gentle, sustained holds applied directly to the skin, without oils or lubrication, to release restrictions in the fascia (the connective tissue web surrounding muscles, organs, and nerves).

This approach is especially effective for chronic pain, post-surgical restrictions, and pain that hasn't responded well to other treatments.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

We offer external and internal (vaginal and/or rectal) pelvic floor treatment for both men and women, addressing fascial restrictions that contribute to pain or dysfunction.

This may help with pain during intercourse, bowel movements, or urination, as well as tailbone, back, or hip pain that hasn't resolved through other treatment.

Dry Needling

Single-use, sterile needles are used to release musculoskeletal and fascial restrictions, and to reduce pain.

Particularly effective for tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, and acute injuries such as ankle sprains and back pain.

Visceral
Manipulation

Developed by French osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral, this gentle, hands-on technique addresses restrictions and adhesions in the connective tissue surrounding the internal organs, restoring more natural movement and reducing referred pain.

Often beneficial for digestive issues, chronic pelvic pain, post-surgical scarring, and pain following trauma or injury.

Manual
Lymphatic Drainage

Using traditional and Brazilian lymphatic drainage techniques , we help reduce swelling and support the body's natural healing process.

Especially helpful after surgery — including cosmetic procedures and joint replacements — as well as for sports-related swelling and bruising.

Craniosacral Therapy

A gentle, light-touch technique (Upledger Institute approach) used to evaluate and release tension in the connective tissue of the head, spine, and surrounding structures.

Often helpful for headaches, jaw tension, and general nervous system regulation — particularly for those who find deeper tissue work too intense.

Voice & Swallowing Disorders

Restrictions in the tissues of the neck, throat, larynx, and tongue can sometimes contribute to vocal fatigue, difficulty projecting your voice, or a sensation of food or pills getting stuck when swallowing.

Drawing on advanced manual therapy training — including training with Walt Fritz — treatment focuses on improving tissue mobility, particularly when diagnostic testing hasn't identified a structural cause for symptoms. This approach can also help with lingering discomfort following nasogastric tube placement or intubation.

Intraoral &
TMJ Issues

We treat TMJ disorders, — including jaw pain, headaches, clicking, and difficulty eating or opening the mouth — through targeted intraoral and external manual techniques.

Massage & Red Light Therapy

Sometimes you just need to relax, unwind, and recharge. We offer Swedish and deep tissue massage and we can incorporate red light therapy into any of your treatments.

Curious what a two-hour massage feels like? This might be your sign to try one.

FAQs

My condition isn't listed on your services page. Can you still help?

Many of the people we treat have conditions that don't fit neatly into a list, especially when it comes to complex or long-standing pain. Reach out and let's talk, not just about whether we can help, but whether we're the right fit for you. That connection matters.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network with insurance companies, but we're happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.

What if I have a new injury?

We're always happy to help with new injuries and will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible.
Dry needling and lymphatic drainage, in particular, can be very effective for acute injuries like ankle sprains and back pain.

I just want a great massage, can you help?

Absolutely. Call us and we'll work out the length and approach that's right for you.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Florida is a direct access state, so you can come to us directly for physical therapy and wellness services without a referral.

Do you do mobile treatments?

Yes, treatments in your home can be arranged, with an added fee based on distance from the clinic.

How long after a surgery can I start treatment?

Manual lymphatic drainage can often begin even before surgery, and immediately afterward to support healing. For deeper work addressing fascial adhesions or scar mobility, we typically recommend waiting 90 days to ensure incisions are fully healed.

Do you accept Medicare?

We are not enrolled with Medicare and do not bill Medicare for physical therapy services. Patients with Medicare are welcome to see us on a private-pay basis for services not covered by Medicare, such as wellness-focused massage therapy. If you have questions about your specific situation, we're happy to discuss what's appropriate for your needs.
